Great experience, especially while accommodating for COVID restrictions.

Close to slopes, table clothes, drinks, signature cheese fondue. I little difficult to find but all you have to do is ask someone. Recommend reservations, even for lunch. Limited seating, only indoor seating.

Dinner on Patio with family so shared cheese fondue appetizer- terrific. Entrees equally good- ordered Scallops, Halibut, and Chicken - perfectly prepared. Chef and staff accommodated for gluten free diners easily, cheerfully, professionally. Finished with chocolate fondue and perfect fresh fruit- Relaxed & enjoyable evening. Looking forward to next time

The restaurant just reopened post Covid-19 shutdown and we booked an early dinner in the new outdoor patio. We had a great dining experience. All the safety precautions were in place and waiters were fresh and eager to please. All our dishes were delicious, and I highly recommend; not only that, it’ll help support the local businesses through this unprecedented time.

Excellent service and amazing food! We had the fondue, wiener schnitzel and Elk tenderloin. Everything was spot on and delicious. Great cocktails also!

Premium price for good portion of food.

Old world European Inn mid mountain in Deer Valley. This is our favorite apre ski in the area. It charming and inviting and it’s a class act! Their cheese fondue is a favorite and fun to share. I’ve also has the pull apart bread which is piping hot and nice and salty, served with apple butter! For dinner the braised waygu melted in my mouth. Hubby had the weinerschnitzel which is a specialty. Fireplaces, crisp white linen, cozy lighting and friendly service keep us coming back ever year!

Beyond my expectations. Creative twist on traditional cuisines.

Excellent service from arrival to departure. High-end L'Occitane toiletries (e.g. Lemon Verbena bar soap). Hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies every day at 4pm for après-ski. Staff will store your skis every night (and set them out each morning), give you restaurant recommendations and make reservations for you, and can sell you lift tickets and print them out. Restaurant is overpriced and only pretty good - not worth the price (e.g. $52 for 3 scallops).

We loved the fondue as an appetizer for the table. The bratwurst made me feel Teutonic.

The food was amazing...The restaurant reservation system ...very poor. No flexibility if your early..we even called early..even with empty tables....came early...couldn't seat us even though there were empty tables..it's simple management... they should have unreserved our table...seated us...and then there is a free table for the 1st come 1st serve guests .and you have no options as they charge $200 +tax if you dont keep your reservation....

What a lovely property with wonderful hospitality! It has old world charm and is truly a class act. The car and shuttle service at the hotel is beyond expedient. We got from point A to point B and beyond with no hassle and minimal wait. Definitely utilize their transportation option if you decide to stay at this property.The restaurant in the lobby is beyond amazing and is definitely in the top five among the best cheeseburgers I've probably had anywhere. The bartender, Eliza is the absolute best! She's courteous, very knowledgeable and genuinely takes an interest in assuring your satisfaction. We were delighted by her exemplary service 2 nights in a row. I learned more about Utah conversing over cocktails at the bar with her than through any prior research I've done. Her hospitality is definitely an asset to this establishment. The bar and this lovely property is definitely worth a try. Dont miss it!

Very good food of excellent quality, with high quality products too. The best is the Brandon's cheese fondue.

Even though Deer Valley has changed and not for the better the Goldner Hirsch is still as wonderful as ever.

I’m not sure how anyone can eat here. The smell is of a warm molding cheese. Pretty sure I’m going to have to buy new jeans. Zero appetite from smell - left

A staple to any trip to Deer Valley. We Apres ski here after every trip. Great selection of drinks and food. If you like European ambiance with great American customer service the Goldener Hirsch is the place for you. Great cheese fondue and warm pretzels. Great selection of German beers as well which is a must for our group. Staff is always friendly and has a smile on!

Awesome cozy 5 star restaurant! Food and service people were great. No Austrian people working but people from all different countries work there.

A taste of Europe! Beautiful rooms & amenities. Fabulous dining and extremely gracious and friendly staff. We keep coming back!

We've been here twice now and both times it was phenomenal. I highly recommend the fondue and melon tart. The service was excellent both times as well.

Goldner Hirsch is my favorite place to stay in Park City. The hotel has so much character and the staff is top notch.

It was a cozy cottage feeling. The servers are extraordinary and fun to be around. The food was absolutely amazing. I would recommend their filet mignon any day!

We had an amazing stay at the Golden Hirsch. Amanda and the entire à staff were extremely attentive, warm and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities you would expect of a 5 star hotel. It is a small boutique hotel and reminded me a lot of the Relais et Châteaux Hôtels in France. We will be back. Thank you Amanda and the est if the staff for making our week end get away special. Keep up the good work!

One of my favorite places for a European style meal. Lived in Germany for 4 years and I have to go here on occasion to get my fix; Schnitzel with noodles. Food is excellent and a beautiful restaurant.

Dining expectations on New Years Eve are generally very low. Expensive jacked up prixe fixe menus with foo-foo food and rushed first seatings are the norm. Not at Goldener Hirsch. First, they were very accommodating when we showed up with six people and a reservation for only five (my fault). Great table. It helps that I love Austrian food. GH had a prixe fixe menu that had three great entree options, a filet minon, a lobster, and a Wienerschnitzel. Very approachable, traditionally and excellently prepared food. I had been to GH for a slopeside lunch a few years ago, so I remembered how much we loved it. Very pleased that we chose GH for our New Years dinner. The service was fantastic and the overall experience was over-the-top. I loved the apple streudel dessert with cinnamon ice cream. It was the perfect end to a perfect dining experience. I think that the Stein Erikkson Lodge steals the show at Silver Lake, and the GH sits right in its shadow. Too bad. GH is a great alternative, small, intimate, and friendly. Authentically Austrian hospitality.
